Cableway, viewpoints and mountain activities in one scenic area
Jushi Mountain is in Xiaolongshan Village, Luoling Town, Yixiu District, Anqing, with the main entrance at the scenic-area gate. Its main experiences include the cableway, the 520 Heart-Shaped Glass Viewing Platform, Queqiao Bridge, Qianqu Cave, Longtou Peak and several outdoor activities. Allow half a day to a full day.
A route centred on the cableway and walkways usually takes 2–3 hours. Adding Qianqu Cave, Longtou Peak and climbing activities increases both walking and waiting time, so allow at least 4 hours.
Separate tickets for the attractions and activities
The entrance ticket, cableway, glass viewing platform, via ferrata and glass slide may be charged separately, and package inclusions can change with the sales option. Check what is included, then choose a combination that matches the activities you want that day.
Opening and entry-stop times affect the connection between the cableway, slides and outdoor activities. If you arrive in the afternoon, first check whether the remaining opening period is long enough for the cableway, viewpoint and return.

An easier sightseeing route with the cableway and high walkways
After taking the cableway uphill, visit the 520 Heart-Shaped Glass Viewing Platform and Queqiao Bridge, then choose the via ferrata, glass slide or another activity according to the day's arrangements. The route relies mainly on the cableway and walkways, so the climb is limited, but there are still stairs between the viewpoints and activities.
This route suits first-time visitors who want the main scenery or companions who are not comfortable with a long mountain hike. Glass facilities and high walkways may close or change in wind and rain, so note the scenic-area notice before leaving.
Qianqu Cave and Longtou Peak: add mountain walking
After visiting the heart-shaped platform and Queqiao Bridge, follow the main path past Bilian Pool to Qianqu Cave and Longtou Peak. The cave has a winding interior route and is relatively cool in hot weather; Longtou Peak looks out over the surrounding mountains and towards Caizi Lake.
This route adds continuous walking and uphill and downhill sections compared with a viewpoint-only visit. Wear shoes with good grip and make sure everyone in the group has enough stamina. Descend by the glass slide or cableway according to the day's opening status.
A family and outdoor-activity combination
Jushi Mountain offers experiences of different levels, including viewpoints, a cave and the via ferrata. Families can make the heart-shaped platform and a short walkway the main visit, then choose one activity that is open. The via ferrata has different routes, so follow the on-site requirements for height, age and safety before joining.
If high-altitude attractions are not your priority, Qianqu Cave, mountain paths and viewpoints still make a complete visit. When the group has mixed fitness levels, using the cableway in both directions makes it easier to split the walking into sections.

Quick route: cableway, heart-shaped platform and Queqiao Bridge
After entering, handle the ticket and cableway first, then go uphill to the 520 Heart-Shaped Glass Viewing Platform and Queqiao Bridge. Choose the glass slide or another open activity, and return according to the queues for the cableway and descent facilities.
This route is more relaxed with a morning start. If you arrive in the afternoon, complete the cableway, viewpoint and return first, then choose extra paid activities according to the time remaining.
Mountain route: from the viewpoint to Qianqu Cave
Take the cableway uphill, visit the heart-shaped platform and Queqiao Bridge, then follow the main path past Bilian Pool and Qianqu Cave to Longtou Peak. On the way back, choose the glass slide or cableway according to the opening status. The route combines photo stops, a cave and a mountain-top view.
Qianqu Cave and Longtou Peak form a continuous walking section. Check that companions are comfortable with the effort before starting; if the weather worsens or an activity closes, shorten the route to the platform and Queqiao Bridge.
Return and activity connections
Queues and opening status may differ for the glass slide, cableway and via ferrata. After the high-altitude section, descend along the scenic-area route. Drivers can return to central Anqing after leaving, and visit Yingjiang Temple or Daobashi Historical and Cultural Block at another time.
There are many activities in the area. Complete the cableway, viewpoint and the one or two activities you care about most before arranging the descent and collecting the car.
Get there
Drive to the scenic-area gate
Navigate to “Jushi Mountain Scenic Area” (巨石山景区); the main entrance is in Xiaolongshan Village, Luoling Town, Yixiu District. Driving from central Anqing usually takes under an hour, depending on your starting point and road conditions.
The scenic area has parking. During holidays, deal with parking before going to the ticket and cableway areas, and do not stop on bends, at village-road entrances or where local traffic would be blocked.
Plan the return if using public transport
City buses serve the scenic area, but services are infrequent and taxis for the return can be limited. Non-drivers should arrange both the outward and return trips before leaving; finding a vehicle after the visit may not be easy.
The mountain is explored by cableway and on foot
The cableway covers only part of the uphill and downhill movement. The heart-shaped platform, Queqiao Bridge, Qianqu Cave and Longtou Peak are connected by walking sections. The glass slide is a downhill activity and cannot replace all return transport, so check its direction before buying the ticket.
Know before you go
High-altitude activities depend on the weather
The glass platform, via ferrata, Queqiao Bridge and glass slide all involve exposed or outdoor settings, and wind or rain may affect operations. Visitors who are afraid of heights or uncomfortable with suspended facilities can use Qianqu Cave and the ordinary paths instead.
Stay on the main paths
Some paths shown on maps may not be maintained. If you meet overgrown ground, a landslide or a section without clear signs, return along the main path or the cableway route. Mountain rock, cave paths and steps after rain can be slippery, so wear shoes with good grip.
Food and supplies at the start or end
Supply points on the mountain are limited, so bring water and energy snacks before going uphill. Return to central Anqing for a meal after the visit, or choose a farmhouse restaurant near the scenic area according to its opening that day.
