Plan at a glance
Three areas to choose from
Yufoshan Scenic Area lies in eastern Anshan and includes 219 Park (二一九公园), Dongshan Scenic Area and Yufoyuan (Jade Buddha Temple). For an easy stroll, explore the lake and green spaces in 219 Park. For forest paths and city views, consider Dongshan. For Buddhist architecture and the double-sided Jade Buddha, visit the separately ticketed temple.
The Anshan Zoo and Dongshan Amusement Park are nearby options, with their own tickets and opening hours.
Allow half a day or more
A relaxed visit to 219 Park and the Jade Buddha Temple takes about 2–3 hours. With 4–6 hours, walk around the park, visit the temple and, if time and energy allow, continue to the zoo. If you prefer natural scenery, you can replace the zoo with a walk in Dongshan Scenic Area. Each stop needs its own visit time; the temple and zoo have separate admission, and you should allow time for travel between locations.

Choose your visit
The lake and green spaces in 219 Park
The lake and green spaces are good for a walk or a rest and can be paired with a temple visit. Entry to the park is free, while independently operated attractions inside it charge separately. Use the entrance and ticket arrangements for each paid attraction.
Dongshan Scenic Area: forest and city views
Dongshan Scenic Area is part of Yufoshan Scenic Area and offers a choice of forest walks and city views. Dongshan Amusement Park is a different place: the scenic area is for walking and viewpoints, while the amusement park focuses on rides. If you plan to hike in Dongshan, check the trailhead location and any temporary trail closures before setting out.
The temple, zoo and amusement park
Yufoyuan (Jade Buddha Temple) suits visitors interested in the Jade Buddha and temple architecture. It has a separate ticket, seasonal hours and no-photography rules inside the halls. The Anshan Zoo is another paid attraction, with prices and hours that can change.
Seeing pandas or other animals is not guaranteed, as viewing opportunities depend on the zoo’s daily arrangements. Children’s play facilities and rides at Dongshan Amusement Park also follow their own operating schedules.
For a longer mountain hike outside the city-centre area, see Qianshan Scenic Area.
Build your day
About 2–3 hours: the park and temple
Walk around the lake in 219 Park, then visit the Jade Buddha Temple. Afterward, depending on which temple exit you use, return to the park or head for a bus stop. Allow about 2–3 hours; add time if you want to continue walking around the park.
About 4–6 hours: park, temple and zoo
With 4–6 hours, start with a walk around the lake in 219 Park, visit the Jade Buddha Temple, then continue to Anshan Zoo if time and energy allow. Plan time for each stop; the temple and zoo have separate admission, and travel between them takes additional time. If you prefer natural scenery, you can replace the zoo with a walk in Dongshan Scenic Area; entrances and trail choices need to be planned separately. Animal displays and children’s facilities may vary with daily operations.
Get there
By bus to 219 Park
Routes 2, 28, 34, 88, 216 and 323 stop at “二一九公园” (219 Park). From the stop, walk through an open park entrance and follow the signs. If you are going to Yufoyuan, continue to the temple’s ticketed gate; the bus stop is not the temple entrance.
By car and parking
Search for “二一九公园停车场” (219 Park car park) or “玉佛苑停车场” (Yufoyuan car park). Parking can be tight on public holidays. Check the lot’s posted charges and the walking distance to your intended entrance.
Know before you go
Park entry does not include the attractions inside
Entry to 219 Park is free, but attractions in and around it may charge separately or keep different hours. Zoo tickets are listed at around CNY 59–69, with opening hours generally around 8:00 am–5:30 pm. Both may vary by season and operating conditions; check current information before visiting. The Jade Buddha Temple has its own ticket.
Allow time for walking and the return trip
If anyone in your group needs fewer steps or step-free access, check the available paths and entrances at each attraction. At the end of your visit, use the actual exit to plan the return to your bus stop or parking space. The park, temple, zoo and amusement park set their own operating hours.
