Book a morning slot if seeing active pandas is the priority
Pandas are most active in the cooler morning hours, especially around feeding time. Late arrivals often see more sleeping animals.

The south gate is stronger for visitors focused on Huahua and headline enclosures. The west gate is better for a lighter route with sightseeing carts.

The site is large enough to turn into a 20,000-step day. A cart ticket saves time and preserves energy for the main panda zones.
