Pin Trading
Pin trading is a long-standing tradition at Disney parks around the world. Many Cast Members wear lanyards filled with official Disney pins, and you’re welcome to trade with them! Simply purchase a few pins from gift shops and look for Cast Members wearing pin lanyards or accessories. If you spot a pin you love, just ask to trade—it's that simple! Just make sure the pins are genuine Disney merchandise.
TIP: If you visit during your birthday month, head to the Guest Services Center (to the right after the entrance gates) to claim a free birthday badge! Your friends can also get a special "Celebration" badge.
Dream Passport Stamp Hunt
Perfect for younger guests (and the young at heart!), the official Dream Passport is a collectible booklet that includes cute Disney stories and a fun stamp hunt throughout the park. After purchasing your Dream Passport from select souvenir shops, follow the guide to find 14 stamp machines labeled “Shanghai Disney Resort Dream Passport.”
Once you’ve collected all 14 stamps, head over to Sweethearts Confectionery (inside Shanghai Disneyland) or the World of Disney Store (in Disneytown) to redeem a small surprise gift!
TIP: One of the stamp machines is cleverly hidden in a small booth right outside the Shipwreck Shore splash zone—look for the quirky, skeleton-themed machine! The passport costs ¥70, and there are 14 stamp stations scattered across the park. Legend has it that collecting them all summons the dragon spirit to reveal its treasure!
Autographs from Disney Characters
Besides taking photos with your favorite Disney friends, don’t forget to bring an autograph book! Every character has a unique signature style, making them charming souvenirs to treasure.
PhotoPass Service
Throughout the park, especially at scenic spots and character meet-and-greets, Disney photographers are on hand with the PhotoPass service. They can snap professional shots for you and even add magical Disney touches to your pictures—so you won’t miss a single memory.
Stickers
Most Cast Members carry themed Disney stickers—each park zone has different designs. For example, only Tomorrowland staff carry Stitch stickers, while Tarzan-themed stickers are found near the Tarzan show.
Don’t be shy—feel free to ask any staff member if they have stickers to share! During holidays like Chinese New Year, Christmas, and Halloween, you may even come across special seasonal editions.
TIP: Occasionally, you’ll find Cast Members conducting short guest surveys. Take a few minutes to participate—they often hand out adorable sticker packs afterward! Stickers are limited, so your best chance is to ask in the morning.
DIY Twisty Ring Workshop
Every afternoon at 3 PM, you can join a free 20-minute DIY ring-making class at Tribal Abundance Hall. Materials are provided, and two friendly staff members will guide you through creating your very own Disney twisty ring.
Designs change daily—common ones include Donald Duck and Daisy Duck, and during special events, you might even make limited-edition designs!
