The garden is spread across tea hills. The sightseeing bus saves effort and is useful if you want the upper viewpoints without a long walk.
Start with the tea-history areas
Use the museum and production displays first so the tea fields, tea workshops, and tasting stops make more sense later.
Time any performances or workshops
Tea-picking, tea-cake pressing, and ethnic-performance elements can be seasonal or scheduled, so ask at entry before walking uphill.
Leave shopping to the end
Taste tea if you are interested, but keep purchases slow and compare prices. The visit is still worthwhile without buying tea.
