Beginner routes such as Wudaoxi are more practical for casual visitors. Deeper forest routes need more time, fitness, and local knowledge.

Tip:Protected mountain areas are not open free-for-all trails.

Pack for wet forest conditions
Use grippy shoes, quick-dry clothing, insect protection, water, snacks, and a light rain or wind layer.
Tip:Ordinary city sneakers can be unsafe on wet stones.
