How to Visit

Decide if you are staying inside
Heshun is better when you can enjoy morning markets and quiet evenings. If you have heavy luggage, confirm pickup or choose lodging near the entrance.
Tip:Dragging luggage over stone lanes and slopes is frustrating.

Start with the outer scenic loop
Use Double Rainbow Bridge, Heshun Library, lanes, Wild Duck Lake, and ancestral halls as your first walking route.
Tip:The edges of town are often calmer than the busiest center.

Use food stops as part of the route
Morning market food, thin bean flour, local beef dishes, and family restaurants are part of the Heshun experience.
Tip:Do not eat only on the most obvious main street.

Plan around slopes and shuttles
The town has stone lanes and uphill sections. Use the shuttle if you are tired or traveling with older visitors.
Tip:Ask your hotel where cars can actually reach.
