Travel to Longcheng Town from Qin'an County and treat Jieting as a short daytime stop.
Reach Longcheng Town first, then continue to the local uphill access point or navigation pin. If you are not driving, arrange the return vehicle to Qin'an or Tianshui before setting out.
Tip:Do not treat it as a central Tianshui attraction with fixed shuttle transport, or plan only the outward journey.

Assess the drive and the uphill walk separately.
Before entering the uphill road, assess passing space, road surface, and weather. If you are not comfortable with a narrow mountain road, park legally in town and walk uphill.
Tip:Do not force a vehicle onto a road where passing is unsafe; reversing or turning around can consume the time needed for your return.

Wear flat, grippy shoes and use steps or a clearly defined path uphill.
Use the summit viewpoint and valley view as the core of the visit, carry water, and return by the same route within your comfort level.
Tip:After rain, in strong wind, or with wet soles, do not leave the path for earthen slopes; downhill footing can become unstable.

From higher ground, observe the river valley, mountain passes, and road corridors between Longcheng and Longshan to understand why the area mattered militarily.
Tip:Do not present one pavilion, hill, or viewpoint as the fully confirmed precise camp of Ma Su.

Descend before dark and reconnect with your return transport in town.
Set a latest descent time while the route and mobile signal remain clear, then meet the driver or onward transport in Longcheng Town.
Tip:Do not rely on mountain lighting, food service, or an unscheduled late pick-up; choices become limited after a delay.
