Xiao River was formed by redirecting and merging the Yu River (潏河, Yù Hé) and Hao River (滈河, Hào Hé) near Xiangzhi Temple in the southern suburbs of Xi’an. The river now flows through the newly built Xiao River Ecological Wetland Park. The park is divided into two sections: the south bank for flower viewing and the north bank for hiking.
