How to Visit
1

Choose daytime park or evening show

The daytime ticket covers the garden route. The bonfire evening is a separate product with dinner and performance, so do not assume it is included.

Tip:Book the evening show separately if that is your plan.
2

Use a one-way garden route

Enter from the northeast side, visit the Dai royal palace area, main garden paths, lake areas, and white pagoda, then exit toward the General Buddhist Temple.

Tip:This avoids backtracking.
3

Check the same-day performance board

Parrot, elephant, and procession times can shape the route. Use them as add-ons rather than letting them make the visit rushed.

Tip:Arrive early for the first morning shows if traveling with children.
4

End at the General Buddhist Temple

The temple sits next to the park and is free. Keep your park ticket if you need to re-enter from the temple side.

Tip:Dress more carefully before entering the temple area.
Highlights
  • Former Dai royal garden with easy city access
  • Good half-day route combining garden, palace-style buildings, and temple culture
  • Family-friendly animal and cultural performances
  • Strong photo locations without needing a long drive
  • Simple pairing with Xishuangbanna General Buddhist Temple
Insider Tips

Go early or after 16:00 to avoid the hottest and busiest period.

Bring water because park food is priced for visitors.

Wear clothing that also works for the temple next door.

Keep the daytime ticket if moving between the park and temple.

Use the evening show only if you want a packaged performance night.
