This is the older lantern park site and the setting for the Chinese Lantern Museum. It is not the current large night lantern festival venue.
Tip:Plan it as a compact daytime stop, not the main lantern night.

Visit the museum if you want real content
The park itself is simple. The Chinese Lantern Museum gives the visit a clearer reason by explaining Zigong's lantern craft and history.
Tip:Without the museum, the park is mostly a light city walk.

After the park, take a short taxi or walk where practical to the old center, salt-history sites, or food areas.
