Xuejiagang Archaeological Site Park is in Xuejiagang Village, Wanghe Town, Qianshan City, Anqing. The entrance has a “Xuejiagang Site” gatehouse (薛家岗遗址牌坊). This free archaeological site and exhibition area works as a 30-minute stop, or as a 1–2 hour visit combining the outdoor remains, exhibition hall and woodland paths.

30 minutes: the core excavation displays
With limited time, enter through the main gate, see the T22 and T21 excavation display halls and the cultural accumulation-layer display, then return along the main path. This length works well between other Qianshan stops and focuses on the excavation areas, layers and site layout.
1–2 hours: outdoor remains and the exhibition hall
For a fuller visit, start with the outdoor excavation displays, ancient well and soil profile, then enter the site exhibition hall and walk part of the woodland boardwalk. This sequence combines the remains in the landscape with the exhibition's explanation of the Xuejiagang culture's periods and features.
Some representative excavated objects, including the well-known nine-hole stone knife, are now held by the National Museum of China. The park's displays focus on interpreting the site and on replicas; the excavation pits, layers and archaeological information are the main things to see here.

The time spent in the exhibition hall depends on the displays that are open. If the hall is temporarily closed, the outdoor excavation pits and soil-profile area can still form the main visit.
Combine it with Tianzhu Mountain for a Qianshan trip
Xuejiagang can be combined with Tianzhu Mountain during a Qianshan trip. The two have separate tickets, entrances and transport; Tianzhu Mountain is the mountain route, while Xuejiagang is a shorter archaeological stop. The drive and return arrangements between them depend on the day's vehicle plan.

Drive to the archaeological park entrance
Navigate to “Xuejiagang Archaeological Site Park” (薛家岗考古遗址公园), then enter via the site gatehouse and the marked approach. The park has a car park; holiday parking and opening arrangements may differ by day.
The park is about 10 km from central Qianshan, where public transport is limited. Visitors arriving by taxi should arrange the return before entering, as finding a car after the visit may be difficult.
Entrance, parking and walking inside the park
The main entrance is at the gatehouse. After parking, walk between the outdoor excavation displays, exhibition hall and woodland boardwalk. The visit is mainly on foot, and the distance between the exhibition hall and outdoor areas depends on which parts are open.

Focus on the site itself
Xuejiagang suits visitors who are willing to read the panels and look closely at the excavation pits and soil layers. If you are also visiting Tianzhu Mountain that day, treat the two sites as separate visits with separate tickets, entrances and transport.
