How to Visit

First know this is not Qin Shi Huang or Li Shimin
The tomb owner here is Li Maozhen, a late Tang and Five Dynasties military ruler, and his wife.
Tip:It is not connected to Qin Shi Huang, and it is not the mausoleum of Emperor Taizong of Tang.

Focus on the underground structure, not large collections
The main value here is entering a real tomb space and seeing the sloped tomb passage, corridors, brick carvings, burial chambers, and anti-theft design.
Tip:Because the tomb was robbed in history, do not expect a major museum full of fine grave goods.

Look carefully at the brick gate tower in the wife's tomb
The underground imitation-wood brick gate tower in the wife's tomb is the most distinctive feature.
