The No. 1 Boundary Monument of the Qing Dynasty works best as a 30-60 minute stop, not a half-day attraction. It is in the Zhushan area of Dongxing, near the Beilun River estuary, and fits well with Dongxing Port, Zhushan Village, and the G219 zero-kilometer marker.
Tip:Its value is strongest when it is part of a wider Dongxing border route.

Visit in daylight
The monument area is generally free to visit, and daylight is much better for seeing the stone, nearby square, and coastline. Going at night is not very useful because photos and visibility are weaker.
Tip:Daylight also makes rural-road access and return transport easier.

Combine it with nearby landmarks
Besides the monument itself, add the G219 zero-kilometer marker, Shanhai Xianglian Landmark Square, Zhushan Old Street, and the Beilun River estuary area if time allows. This makes the stop more complete than taking only one monument photo.
