How to Visit

Choose the South Gate route unless you have a clear reason not to
Most first-time visitors use Tangkou and the South Gate because transport, hotels, shuttles, and cableway access are easiest there.

Pick back-mountain-up or front-mountain-up
Back-mountain-up via Yungu is often easier for a first classic route. Front-mountain-up makes more sense if Greeting Pine or Tiandu Peak is your main target.

Greeting Pine, Bright Summit, West Sea Grand Canyon, and Tiandu Peak cannot all be treated casually in one crowded day. Choose priorities based on fitness and weather.
