Start with the second-floor City Memory exhibition, then continue to the third-floor galleries on the Great Wall and the steel city.
Tip:This order gives the clearest introduction to Jiayuguan's development from Gobi construction site to modern city.

The museum is east of Xiongguan Square. Buses 3 and 5 stop directly nearby; buses 1 and 9 stop at Lüjingyuan, while buses 4 and 12 stop at Xiongguan Square.
