Plan at a glance

Beach walks, photos, and sunsets

Jinbo Beach Ocean Park (金帛滩海洋乐园) is in Haowangjiao, Liaodong Bay New Area, Dawa District, Panjin. It is a seaside leisure park focused on walking, photos, and views. The park has about 1,600 m of beach, boat and other sea activities, beach attractions, tent and RV camping areas, and a “Little Santorini” (小圣托里尼) photo zone. Sea sunsets are a highlight, but whether you can stay to watch one depends on the weather and that day’s hours.

Opening hours and tickets

Opening hours, last entry, and ticket types vary by date. A Chinese-language Ctrip listing gives reference hours of 09:00–19:00 from May 1 to October 20, 2026. Published hours vary across listings, so confirm the closing and last-entry times for your visit, especially if you hope to stay for sunset. Check current ticket conditions for any child or senior discounts.

Choose your visit

Buildings and photo installations

The pink buildings, rainbow staircase, white photo pavilion, seaside swings, and photo frames make up the main photo route. Other installations include a green train and the Rensheng Haihai (人生海海) installation; connect them using the open route on site. The white pavilion works well against a blue daytime sky, while the buildings and installations can make silhouettes near sunset.

Beach and camping areas

Take a walk along the beach and stop to look out over the water. The park also has tent and RV camping, boat trips, and beach activities. Check the day’s signs and ticket information to see which areas and activities are open and whether they cost extra.

Swimming and safety

Do not enter any water area that is not explicitly open for swimming. Use only areas clearly marked as open and follow their safety instructions. Children must be supervised by an adult in the water. Watch for rip-current warnings, barriers, and other on-site notices.

Build your day

A 2–3 hour photo visit

For photos and a beach walk, allow about 2–3 hours to visit the pink buildings, rainbow staircase, white photo pavilion, and seaside installations. If you arrive later in the afternoon, prioritize nearby photo spots and decide whether to wait for sunset based on the closing time.

An afternoon visit through sunset

To combine the beach with a sunset, arrive earlier in the afternoon. Visit the photo buildings first, then walk on the beach or try activities open that day. Leave time for a break and a meal, and finish with a sunset view from an area that remains open. About 5–6 hours is a planning guide for an afternoon visit; starting in the morning calls for a longer stay.

Return after sunset

Before setting out, confirm the closing time and arrange your return vehicle. After sunset, follow the open route out and travel from the parking area or entrance to your accommodation. Book lodging separately if needed. For evening performances on another day, see Beilv Tianyuan · Heifengguan Ancient Town; plan its show schedule and return transport separately.

Get there

Navigation and parking

Search for “金帛滩海洋乐园” (Jinbo Beach Ocean Park), at Haowangjiao in Liaodong Bay New Area, Dawa District, Panjin. Check the posted parking fee and follow signs to the main entrance and parking area.

Panjin Station and Panjin North Station

Panjin Station (盘锦站) and Panjin North Station (盘锦北站) are separate railway stations. Seasonal tourist-bus dates, stops, and times can change. Check the current route from the station where you arrive; arrange a separate connection from Panjin North Station.

Public transport and evening returns

Jinbo Beach is some distance from central Panjin. If you plan to take public transport, confirm the route running that day and its last departure. If you are staying for sunset, arrange your return vehicle and pickup point in advance.

Know before you go

Discounts and tickets

Discounts may apply on certain dates or to eligible visitor groups. Some offers cover general admission only and exclude extra activities. Check eligibility, identification requirements, and any additional charges before buying.

Activities and extra charges

Prices, operating hours, and age limits for umbrellas, showers, beach ATVs, boat trips, and other activities are posted by the park and may change. If an activity is closed or does not meet safety requirements, choose a beach walk, photos, or a viewpoint instead.

Seasonal conditions and the return trip

Beach activities depend on the season, wind, waves, rain, and maintenance. Check parking fees, closing time, and evening transport before leaving. Sunset times vary through the year; stay in open areas and leave enough time to reach the entrance or parking area.
