How to Visit

Choose the right path
Use the steeper shortcut near the Qingqiu Mural exit if you want a faster climb. Use the gentler Qinglong Pavilion side if you prefer an easier ascent.
Tip:The shorter path can still feel hard because the steps are steep.

Pick sunrise or sunset
Sunrise gives cooler air and misty views. Sunset is easier to time but requires careful descent before darkness.
Tip:Bring a headlamp or phone light if you stay late.

Move between the viewing platforms
The platforms face different parts of the lake, villages, and karst hills. Spend time comparing angles instead of stopping at the first viewpoint.
Tip:Wind and crowds can change where it is comfortable to stand.

Descend before the trail is dark
After sunset, start down while there is still enough light to see the steps. The path is not a lit urban walkway.
Tip:This is the main safety mistake to avoid.
