How to Visit

Choose your base first
Stay in Puzhehei Village if you want easy access to Qinglong Mountain and Lover's Bridge. Stay in Xianrendong Village if you prefer a quieter lakefront village with more Yi-style guesthouses.
Tip:Changing villages at night can be inconvenient in low season.

Pick one boat route
Choose the East Line willow-leaf boat for summer water fights, the middle-line painted boat for a calmer covered-boat ride, or the west-line bamboo raft for wetlands and lotus views.
Tip:Do not buy the largest package unless you have time and energy for it.

Add one free viewpoint
Climb Qinglong Mountain for the classic panorama, or use the lakeside paths near the villages if you want an easier walk.
Tip:Bring a light or leave before dark if climbing for sunset.

Use local transport deliberately
Sightseeing buses help on ticketed routes. For flexible village-to-village movement, e-bikes, taxis, or self-drive are easier than waiting for uncertain connections.
Tip:Ask your guesthouse about current routes before setting out.
