Arrive before the evening light changes

The strongest window is usually around sunset into early night, when the river confluence, bridges, and skyline are easier to appreciate in one stop.

Use Raffles City as a navigation landmark

The modern complex sits beside the old Chaotianmen area and makes orientation easier, especially when arriving from the metro.

Look for lower river angles if the main wall blocks the view

Some parts of the square can feel visually blocked. Moving toward the riverbank or east-side lower angles often gives cleaner photos.

Continue toward Hongyadong if you still have energy

The riverside path can connect Chaotianmen with Hongyadong, but allow extra time because the route includes slopes, crossings, and crowd flow.
