Choose the right entrance

Use Lidui Park Gate / Gate 1 if you want the classic lower entrance and easy rail access. Use the Qin Yan Lou / high-gate route only if you want a more downhill route and are comfortable arranging the higher entry point.

Understand the waterworks before walking

Read or listen to a short explanation before you reach Baopingkou, Feishayan, and Yuzui. Without the engineering logic, the visit can feel like a long riverside walk.

Cover the three core engineering points

Move through Baopingkou, Feishayan, and Yuzui in a clear order. These points explain how the Min River is divided, how floodwater and sediment are handled, and how irrigation water enters the Chengdu Plain.

Cross to the temple and viewpoint side if you have time

Anlan Cable Bridge leads toward Erwang Temple and the higher viewing areas. Add this section if you want more history and a better sense of the full water-control layout.

Exit toward Guanxian Ancient City or Nanqiao

After the scenic area, walk to Guanxian Ancient City for food and continue to Nanqiao after dark if you want the night bridge view.
