Dehang Canyon is not just one viewpoint. An easier visit can focus on Dehang Miao Village, the wind-rain bridge, and Liusha Waterfall. A deeper visit adds Tianwen Platform, Yuquanxi Canyon, and more walking trails.

If transport allows, start from the upper entrance, see Tianwen Platform first, then walk down toward Dehang Miao Village.
Judge Liusha Waterfall by season and weather
Liusha Waterfall is one of the canyon's signature sights, but the water flow depends heavily on season and recent rain. It is stronger in wet periods and lighter in dry periods.
Understand the scenic-area transport before you start
Dehang Canyon covers a large area. The entrances, Miao village, waterfall, Tianwen Platform, and return parking point may require walking, electric carts, or shuttle buses.
Do not rely on unofficial entry routes
Some travel notes mention village paths or side routes into the area, but first-time visitors should avoid relying on them. Road conditions, parking, ticket checks, and safety are uncertain.
✦Ticket, shuttle, electric-cart, and combo-pass rules may change, so check whether your ticket includes Dehang Miao Village, Aizhai Bridge, or cliff-walk sections.
✦Wear non-slip shoes; the canyon is humid, and paths or stone steps can be slippery after rain.
