Treat it as a Yangxian ecology stop

Crested Ibis Eco Park is not a large zoo. It is better understood as a small science-and-conservation site for learning about crested ibis protection, artificial breeding, and rewilding.

Come in the morning if you can

Crested ibis activity depends on time and weather. For a better visit, come in the morning, when birds are more likely to be active and the light is better for observation and photos.

Do not expect completely unobstructed birdwatching

You may need to observe the birds through netting or from designated viewing areas, and the distance or angle is not always ideal.

Combine it with other Yangxian stops

Crested Ibis Eco Park does not take long on its own. Pair it with Zhuhuan Pear Garden, Cai Lun Tomb and Temple, Huayang Ancient Town, or Yangxian local food.

Do not disturb birds seen outside the park

Crested ibises may also appear in fields, village edges, or riversides around Yangxian.
