Linhe Ancient City is free to enter and is best for a slow 2-3 hour walk. It is not a polished scenic area, but more like an old city remnant where residents still live.

Start with the wall and Wenbi Tower
Start around the ancient city wall and Wenbi Tower, then continue to the Confucian Temple, ancestral halls, Guihua Well, Yuedong Guild Hall, and the arcade street.

Treat Wenbi Tower as a landmark
Wenbi Tower is worth seeing from the outside, but the tower door is usually not open for climbing.
