Plan at a glance
A driving-focused mountain and coast park
Daqingshan is at the southern end of Zhujiajian Island. Navigate to “Zhujiajian Daqingshan Scenic Area” for the main entrance and ticket office. The main experience is an approximately 18-kilometre one-way ring road, with viewpoints and Lisha Beach along the route; this is not a mountain park that you should plan to cross on foot.
The reference adult ticket is CNY 100. Children under 1.2 metres are free, while children 1.2–1.5 metres and adults aged 60–70 follow the half-price policy. High-season hours are usually 07:30–18:30, with ticket sales or entry ending around 17:00 and the last ring-road shuttle around 17:30. Weather, wind and traffic can change the open areas.
Allow 2–3 hours for the ring road and main viewpoints, or 4–6 hours if you add Lisha Beach and longer stops. Swimming also requires time for changing, rinsing and resting on the beach.

The ring road and Niutoushan Viewpoint
The ring road has mountains on one side and the sea on the other. Drivers can stop briefly at approved parking areas. Niutoushan Viewpoint is the main place to see the connected beaches and coastline, so it is a useful priority on a first visit.
Mao Tiao offers a view of rocks and waves, while Four Seasons Flower Field is a stop near the entrance. Wind and visibility change by day; photograph only from open areas.
Lisha Beach and Qingshan Peak
Lisha Beach is the main area inside the park for sand play and swimming. It suits families and visitors who want time to rest by the water. Follow the beach's instructions for swimming, rescue coverage and changing facilities.
Qingshan Peak offers a higher view over the islands, but reaching it requires a local minibus transfer around Shaojiwan Fishing Village. Confirm whether it is open, how long the wait is and how to return; it is not a regular ring-road shuttle stop.
Who is it for?
Daqingshan suits drivers, photographers and visitors who want to view the mountain and coast in sections. It can also work for families making a short stop at Lisha. Visitors who need full accessibility, want to walk everywhere or do not want a long drive should confirm which areas they can reach that day.
Build your day
A 2–3-hour short route
Enter through the main gate, pass Four Seasons Flower Field, Niutoushan Viewpoint and Mao Tiao, then leave along the one-way road. Stop at the main viewpoints first and decide later whether to add another stop.
The park is too large to complete on foot. Follow the one-way direction while driving, and check the direction before rejoining the road after each viewpoint. Do not stop on bends or coastal sections.
4–6 hours: viewpoints plus Lisha Beach
Complete the ring-road views first, stopping at Niutoushan, Mao Tiao and other open viewpoints. Near the exit, follow the day's signs to turn uphill and re-enter, then go to Lisha Beach for swimming, sand play and a longer rest.
This separates sightseeing from beach time. The re-entry route, timing and vehicle instructions depend on the day, so anyone planning the second section should leave plenty of time before the park clears visitors.
An extra stop at Qingshan Peak
If you want to visit Qingshan Peak, first check at Shaojiwan Fishing Village whether the minibus is running, then adjust the ring-road timing. The summit adds waiting and uphill or downhill travel, so do not estimate it using driving time alone.
Get there
Drive into the park
Zhujiajian is connected to Zhoushan's main island by bridges, so you can drive directly to the main entrance. Cars with nine seats or fewer may enter according to the day's rules. Parking is available along the route near viewpoints and Lisha, subject to on-site directions.
The park roads have many bends and some coastal sections. Follow the one-way signs and speed limits. After parking, get out on the safe side, and use designated parking areas away from bends and fire lanes.
If you are not driving
The park has a free sightseeing shuttle, but services are infrequent and the route is limited. In particular, taxis and buses may be difficult to find after leaving at Shaojiwan Fishing Village. Decide on your return before entering.
Know before you go
Opening hours and changes during the day
Daqingshan's opening, last-entry time and last ring-road shuttle can change with the season and weather. Wind, traffic or temporary controls may affect Qingshan Peak, the ring road or other areas. Leave a buffer in the final hour of your visit.
Walking, supplies and sun protection
Most movement is by car, with walking concentrated at viewpoints and the beach. Wear grippy shoes and bring water, sun protection and a light jacket. In summer, even short stops outside the car can lead to overheating.
Supply points inside the park are limited. Bring water and simple food if you plan to stay at Lisha, and check tides, wind and the rescue area before entering the water. Follow the beach route when you leave.
Return planning
If you want to combine the viewing loop with Lisha Beach, include the re-entry and clearing time in the plan. Non-drivers should leave earlier and should not wait until closing time to look for a vehicle at the exit.
