A separate island reached by boat
Peach Blossom Island is in Taohua Town, Putuo District. Its attractions are spread out. The main paid places are Peach Blossom Village, Anqifeng, Tawan Golden Beach and the Eagle Shooting Film City, while Wushizi Village and other areas are open stops. Each place has its own entrance and ticket; this is not one attraction with a single gate.
Allow 4–5 hours for a focused visit, or stay for 1–2 nights to separate the beach, coastal path and mountain views. Buses are infrequent and the island roads have many bends, so driving or arranging transport for the day gives you more control.
Tickets and opening hours
Reference single-entry prices are about CNY 45 for Peach Blossom Village, CNY 45 for Anqifeng, CNY 58 for Tawan Golden Beach and CNY 50 for the Eagle Shooting Film City. Opening areas and prices may change; confirm them at the day's ticket office or reservation page.
Reference overall hours are 07:30–17:00 from May 1 to October 31 and 08:00–16:30 from November 1 to April 30. Individual attractions may stop entry at different times, so work backward from the last place you plan to visit.

Peach Blossom Village's coastal path
Peach Blossom Village focuses on a coastal trail, wooden walkways and rocky shore. Donghai Shenzhu and Tan Zhi Peak are stops along the route. This is one of the island's more concentrated natural areas and suits visitors interested in coastal walking, photography or the island's martial-arts-themed scenery.
The coastal sections are affected by wind and waves. Stay on the open path when taking photographs, and do not shorten a safe stop on the trail just to rush to the next attraction.
Tawan Golden Beach and Wushizi Village
Tawan Golden Beach suits sand, sea views and activities planned around the tide. Early and late light is softer. Follow the day's instructions for beach hours and swimming; an early or late free-entry period does not mean that every facility is open.
Wushizi Village's black pebble beach is better for a short stop and for observing the village setting. Rocks by the sea can be slippery. Stay away from places covered by the tide, and do not take the stones away.
Anqifeng and the Eagle Shooting Film City
Anqifeng offers high views across the islands. Driving to the mid-slope or summit and walking uphill both take time and energy, and supplies on the mountain are limited. The Eagle Shooting Film City is a separate themed attraction for visitors interested in film sets and martial-arts stories; add it only if the schedule allows.
For a first visit with one day, Peach Blossom Village, Tawan Golden Beach and Anqifeng already make a complete mountain-and-coast plan. The film city is an optional addition rather than something to squeeze in with all three.
Build your day
A 4–5-hour focused route
After arriving, go from the pier to Peach Blossom Village and follow the coastal path to Donghai Shenzhu and Tan Zhi Peak. Continue to Tawan Golden Beach for a short stop, then visit Anqifeng's mid-slope or summit viewpoint before returning to the pier. Transfers between the attractions require vehicles; waiting and boat time are not included.
This plan suits drivers or visitors who have already arranged transport. If the outbound arrival is late or the return boat is early, fix the return boat first and choose two of Peach Blossom Village, Tawan Golden Beach and Anqifeng. Complete the final mountain section before leaving the island.
1–2 days with separate sections
Visitors staying on the island can spend the first afternoon at Tawan Golden Beach, with beach activities planned around the tide and weather. Visit Peach Blossom Village the next morning and Anqifeng in the afternoon. Add the film city only if its opening hours and the departure boat allow it.
This split separates the mountain, beach and coastal walking effort. Because sea transport depends on wind and waves, do not place a time-critical attraction on the last mountain road before departure.
Weather allowance for sunset and low-tide activities
Beach activities at Tawan Golden Beach depend on the tide, while the views from Anqifeng and Peach Blossom Village depend on visibility. Sunset, low-tide activities and the colour of the sea are not guaranteed, so keep a version of the day that works as an ordinary sightseeing visit.
Get there
Boats from Zhoushan's main island
Regular passenger boats from Shenjiamen Duntou Pier take about 40–60 minutes. Zhujiajian Xiyao Pier also has ferry services. Banshengdong Passenger Centre mainly operates faster boats, with a reference sailing time of 20–30 minutes. Ningbo Beilun Zhitou Pier has services that can carry vehicles, with a reference sailing time of about 70 minutes.
Boat type, vehicle rules and departure times differ by pier. Confirm the departure pier and arrival time when booking, and arrange the return boat at the same time. Do not rely on buying only the outbound ticket and finding a return later.
Getting around the island
Buses connect the pier with the main attractions, but intervals may be long. A vehicle that travels with you on a car ferry requires a separate confirmation. An electric scooter can help on flatter sections, but it does not replace the mountain road to Anqifeng.
There is no metro or continuous walking route between the attractions. Keep luggage, swimming gear and water to what you need; this makes transfers and uphill sections easier.
Know before you go
Mountain roads, supplies and weather
The climb at Anqifeng puts pressure on the knees and requires energy. Supplies on the mountain are limited, so carry enough water. Coastal weather changes quickly; bring sun protection and a light jacket, and expect stone steps and coastal paths to be slippery after rain.
Sea views and tides affect the experience. In strong wind or dense fog, prioritise safety and the return boat and reduce time at remote viewpoints.
Tickets and spending
The four paid attractions have separate tickets. Tawan Golden Beach's special periods, night arrangements and swimming areas follow the day's notice. Before entering, confirm the ticket type, validity and any re-entry rule rather than relying on a verbal offer from a private person or accommodation.
Food supply and prices vary around the island. Confirm the charging method and portion before ordering seafood, and leave enough time to arrange food without depending on a restaurant near the entrance.
Leaving the island
Calculate the return boat, walking at the pier and driving on the island separately. Peach Blossom Island and Zhujiajian or Shenjiamen are different areas, so if you have another journey after leaving the island, leave room for a late boat.
