Build your day
Climb to Guanlan Pavilion
The Buddhist Light Tower is the central historic feature, while Guanlan Pavilion provides a broad view of the Han River, Guangji Bridge and Jinshan Bridge. Rainy-day clearing and late afternoon can produce the best atmosphere.
Use the exit to continue to the bridge
The exit connects to the old city wall, allowing you to continue toward Guangji Bridge without retracing the route. It can be placed before or after a bridge visit.
Get there
Bus, cycling and driving
Take bus 602, or walk or use a shared e-bike from Paifang Street. Drivers can use the entrance car park, north embankment bays or smart parking along the city wall, although spaces are limited.

Ticket value and closure
If you are also visiting Guangji Bridge, compare the included-ticket option with a separate 10 CNY ticket. Do not plan this stop for Monday.
Scale, stairs and wind
A complete loop takes roughly 10–30 minutes, so treat it as an extension to the old city or bridge rather than a half-day destination. There are stone steps, and the riverfront is breezy near sunset; wear walking shoes and bring a light layer.
