Location, tickets and opening
Fengxiang Gorge is in Fenghu Village, Fenghuang Town, on the southeastern side of the Fenghuang Mountain range. Use the main entrance and Car Park No. 1, or Car Park No. 2 with the shuttle for rafting.
Adult admission is listed at 35–40 CNY and children’s admission at 18–20 CNY. The glass bridge, slide and rafting cost extra; packages suit visitors using several activities. Opening is 08:30–17:00, with final entry at 16:00.

1.5–2 hours: waterfalls and mountain tea stop
Enter through the main gate, walk through Fuyin Tingpu and Jinglian Jianyue, then continue to Yuhu Pavilion for views and tea before returning or taking the sightseeing vehicle down.
2–3 hours: rafting route
Park at Car Park No. 2, take the shuttle to the rafting start, complete Longteng Valley Rafting, then allow time for showering, changing and return transport.
2.5–3 hours: waterfalls, glass bridge and slide
Walk the waterfall route from the main entrance, cross Xiangyun Glass Bridge, use the glass slide and finish with tea at the upper area.
Build your day
Enter in the morning and walk the waterfalls first
Fuyin Tingpu, Jinglian Jianyue, Canglong Yin Gorge and Yinhe Luohan form the waterfall route, with pavilions for rest. Around 10:00 is a practical arrival time for avoiding stronger heat and crowds.
Allow recovery time after water activities
Longteng Valley Rafting is about 3.2 km long with around 156 metres of natural drop and takes roughly 1.5–2 hours. Reserve time afterward for changing clothes, drying equipment and transport.

Driving is the practical option
The site is around 28 km and 40 minutes from Chaozhou Ancient City. Car Park No. 1 is about 10 CNY per visit; Car Park No. 2 is free for rafting visitors. Mountain roads are winding, so new drivers should take particular care.
Public transport
From Nanqiao Market, take Phoenix No. 1 bus to Lincuotian, then walk about 1.2 km. A 601-to-Phoenix-No. 1 combination is possible but time-consuming.
Know before you go
Rafting kit and safety
Bring a waterproof phone pouch, change of clothes, quick-dry clothing, non-slip shoes and basic wash supplies. Shower areas may not have hot water or toiletries; secure glasses and valuables before rafting.
Parking, activities and weather
Car Park No. 1 fills quickly on holidays, so rafting visitors can use Car Park No. 2 and arrange rafting ahead. Bring insect repellent, sun protection and water for slippery gorge paths; rafting season is busier, while weekdays are generally calmer.
