How to Visit
1

Reach it after the Yuzui section

The bridge makes most sense after you have seen the main waterworks points. It links the river-engineering side with the temple and hillside side.

Tip:Do not treat it as a separate trip outside the scenic area.
2

Cross slowly and keep to the flow

The bridge can sway under foot traffic. Hold the side rope or rail, keep children close, and avoid stopping in the middle when the bridge is crowded.

Tip:The movement is normal but can surprise first-time visitors.
3

Use it as the route decision point

After crossing, continue to Erwang Temple and higher viewpoints if you have energy. Otherwise, keep the visit focused on the lower waterworks route.

Tip:This is where the walk becomes more step-heavy.
Highlights
  • Historic-style bridge crossing over the Min River channel
  • Direct connection between Yuzui and the temple side
  • Clear view of water movement below the bridge
  • Short but memorable stop inside the larger scenic route
Insider Tips

Do not block the bridge for long photos when crowds are moving behind you.

Hold onto children and loose items on windy or crowded days.

Skip the upper route after crossing if your group is tired.

Expect a stronger sway during holidays and group-tour peaks.
