How to Visit

Reach it from Anlan Cable Bridge or the upper route
Most visitors reach Erwang Temple after crossing Anlan Cable Bridge from the core waterworks side. A high-gate route can put the temple earlier in the day.
Tip:Both options involve steps.

Connect the temple to Li Bing's waterwork story
The temple honors Li Bing and the later cultural memory around the Dujiangyan system. Read the short explanations so it does not become just another temple stop.

Use the hillside buildings for viewpoints
Move through the layered halls slowly. The hillside setting gives partial views toward the river, bridge, and waterworks route.

If you still have time and energy, continue toward Qin Yan Lou or higher viewpoint sections. If not, return toward the bridge and lower scenic route.
