Use the town as your Rear Mountain base
Most visitors come here to start or finish Qingcheng Rear Mountain. Use the town for meals, toilets, supplies, and route decisions before entering the hiking area.

If you only want the town, walk Tai'an Temple, the bridge, and the main street. If you want nature, continue into Wulonggou, Cuiying Lake, or a longer Rear Mountain loop.

Local dishes such as cured pork, tofu pudding, chicken soup, and fish appear on many menus. Ask whether fish or seasonal items are sold by portion or by weight.
