How to Visit
1

Reach the summit before visiting the hall

Zhurong Hall stands on Zhurong Peak, so first complete the 40-60 minute walk from Nantianmen to the summit.

Tip:It is not a separate attraction reached directly from the foot of the mountain.
2

Follow the temple's visitor rules

Keep passageways clear, follow posted photography rules, and avoid interrupting worship or religious services.

Tip:Schedule the hall in the first half of your summit stop so you do not have to leave in a rush.
3

Descend by the main trail

Return to the main trail and descend to Nantianmen by the same route.

Tip:If using the eco-shuttle down, work backward from your reserved boarding arrangement when deciding when to leave the summit.
Highlights
  • The granite-built hall is closely tied to its summit setting and is the most prominent structure on Zhurong Peak.
  • Its religious focus gives the summit route a clear cultural context.
  • Rocks and small platforms behind and around the hall can be visited with the summit views, without blocking worship or passage.
  • It is the temple to visit after reaching Zhurong Peak, not a substitute for the summit itself.
Insider Tips

Keep your voice low and dress respectfully. Avoid photographing people who are praying or blocking entrances and exits.

Do not treat the hall as a guaranteed shelter from wind or rain. When summit weather changes, plan for a safe descent first.

Prayer items and donations are personal choices; decide what you need before you arrive rather than adding pressure to an already time-sensitive visit.

Summit winds are strong and temperatures can be low. Put on an extra layer before stopping for photographs.

Combine Zhurong Hall with a short summit stop, leaving enough time to return to Nantianmen.
