Do the gorge and cave sequence in order
Follow the managed flow through Yincui Gorge, cave halls, waterfall areas, and calcified terraces. The route is more efficient when you do not backtrack.
Prepare for wet steps and cool air
Use shoes with grip and bring a light outer layer. Mist, damp steps, and cave temperatures make this different from an ordinary park walk.
Lock the return transport before entering
If you are not self-driving, buses and transfers can take longer than the scenic visit itself. Check return timing from Yiliang or your tour pickup.
