Enter from the South Binhe East Road side
Set your destination to Lanzhou Waterwheel Expo Park. Once inside, walk first toward the Yellow River to understand how the waterwheel group sits within the riverside setting.
Tip:This is an open riverside park and normal walking visits are free. Similar attraction names can be confusing, so use the full park name when navigating.

Visit in the order of large waterwheels, close structural view, then indoor or on-site displays
Start with the large riverside waterwheels, then examine the spokes, timber construction, and water-lifting mechanism at closer range. If waterwheel-related displays are open, treat them as an extra part of the visit.
Tip:Do not leave after a single entrance photo. Looking at the structure up close is what explains the link between waterwheels and traditional irrigation; individual displays or facilities may change during maintenance.
