How to Visit
1

Navigate to the hilltop camp if you want views

If your goal is sunset and mountain views, set your destination as "Luosifen Town Flying Camp" or "Luosifen Town Paragliding Base." Do not only navigate to "Liuzhou Snail Noodles Specialty Town."

Tip:The wider town area is large, and the industrial park, village area, and hilltop camp are not the same experience.
2

Understand what is charged separately

The hilltop lawn or camp commonly charges around CNY 20. Parking, paragliding, camping, and barbecue cost extra.

Tip:Ask what your ticket includes before paying because the paid activity area is separate from the wider town and industry zone.
3

Use a car or taxi for the simplest trip

Driving or taking a taxi from central Liuzhou takes about 20-30 minutes and is the easiest option. Buses can get you to the Taiyangcun area, but you still need to walk or find local transport to the hilltop viewpoint.

Tip:Taxis may be harder to get for the return trip than in the city, so plan how you will get back down before sunset.
4

Arrive late in the afternoon

Arrive after about 5:00 pm for better light and sunset. Rain, fog, or heavy cloud cover will make the visit much less rewarding.

Tip:The viewpoint is most useful for clear-weather photos, not as an all-weather attraction.
Highlights
  • This area is more of a luosifen industry, village, and karst-hill landscape zone than a lively food street.
  • The hilltop flying camp has open views, and on clear days you can see layered hills and sunset light.
  • If you are interested in the luosifen industry, you can also look at the industrial park, ingredient-growing areas, and related displays.
  • It is not far from the city, so it works best as a half-day or late-afternoon add-on.
Insider Tips

Go to the hilltop camp for photos. If you mainly want to eat luosifen, choose a mature noodle shop back in the city.

The road up has slopes and bends, so drive slowly. Riding an electric scooter uphill requires enough battery and confidence.

Taxis may be harder to get for the return trip than in the city, so plan how you will get back down before sunset.

Come for photos and the industry theme, not for a fully built shopping street or traditional old-town atmosphere.
