For the classic golden sunrise, stay near Feilai Temple or a nearby viewing hotel the night before.

The whole trip depends on cloud cover. If the forecast is poor, reconsider the long drive.

Pick Mingyong Glacier for a managed glacier route, Wunongding for views, or Yubeng for a longer trekking plan.
