Treat it as Pudacuo's core stop
If you only have limited energy in the park, spend it at Shudu Lake rather than trying to rush every stop.
Tip:This is the most reliable lake walk.

Walk the 3.3 km boardwalk
The boardwalk is flat and scenic, but altitude makes the pace slower. Stop for forest, meadow, and lake views.
Tip:Allow at least 1.5 hours if you like photos.

Skip unnecessary boat add-ons
The boardwalk gives a better sense of the lake and forest than a short paid ride for most visitors.

Watch altitude symptoms
The lake sits around 3,700 m. If you feel headache, dizziness, or nausea, rest and use the shuttle rather than pushing on.
