Shangnahui Village is better for field views, scenic guesthouses, cafes, and slow peak-and-field photos. Compared with Xianahui, it is usually quieter and suits travelers who prefer a calmer stay.
Tip:If food convenience and evening activity matter more to you, Xianahui may be the better base.

Ride between Shangnahui, Zhongnahui, and Xianahui in the daytime
The Nahui villages are close enough to link by riding or short transfers. A smooth route is to start with open field views in Shangnahui, then continue toward Xianahui for food and walking.
Tip:Before renting, check battery, brakes, and allowed roads. Do not stop for photos where you block traffic.

Some guesthouses and viewpoints around Shangnahui face the peaks, fields, and Bagua Field area, making it suitable for sunrise mist or sunset if you stay overnight.
Tip:View quality varies a lot by exact location and room. Check the map and actual view before booking, not just the phrase "Wanfenglin view."

Do not overpack Shangnahui
The value here is slowing down, not collecting many small stops. Allow 1-2 hours for walking, photos, and a cafe stop, or move even slower if you stay in the village.
Tip:If you still need to visit major attractions later the same day, Shangnahui can be a short stop instead of a long detour.
