How to Visit
1

Decide first whether to buy the observation-road ticket or stay in the villages and fields

For a first visit and full karst-peak views, buy the entrance ticket and sightseeing bus ticket, then use the mountainside observation road for Jiangjun Peak, Zhongxing Pengyue, Bagua Field, and Bubu Gaosheng. The official ticket is CNY 70 in peak season, CNY 60 in low season, plus CNY 50 for the Guanfeng Road sightseeing bus.

Tip:If you only want to ride around Nahui villages and enjoy fields and village life, the free village route works. It does not give the same wide elevated views as the mountainside route.
2

Handle booking and entry time before the rest of the day

Wanfenglin uses reservation and staggered ticketing, so check availability early during holidays and flower season. Opening hours are 8:00-18:00 in peak season and 8:30-17:30 in winter. Enter in the morning if you want enough time for both the sightseeing bus and the villages.

Tip:10:00-11:30 and 13:00-14:30 are usually busier. Avoid these windows if you want fewer queues.
3

Use the sightseeing bus for big views, and riding for village details

The sightseeing bus is easier for older visitors, children, and first-time visitors. Riding or walking is better for stopping in Shangnahui, Xianahui, along the Nahui River, and near fields, old trees, bridges, and village cafes.

Tip:Do not treat the two routes as the same experience. The bus gives elevated views; riding shows village life.
4

Save separate time and energy if you want to hike Lingyun Peak

The mountainside trail gives higher views of the peaks and fields, but it involves climbing, sun exposure, and limited supplies. It suits active travelers and photographers, not a rushed short visit.

Tip:Hiking first and then riding through the villages can be tiring. Bring water, sun protection, and insect protection in summer or on sunny days.
Highlights
  • Wanfenglin is Xingyi's main karst-peak landscape and works well as a half-day to full-day anchor stop.
  • The mountainside observation road shows peaks, fields, villages, and rivers together, making it the most reliable first-visit viewpoint.
  • Bagua Field, Zhongxing Pengyue, Jiangjun Peak, and Bubu Gaosheng are easy to connect by sightseeing bus, so you do not need to search for every viewpoint yourself.
  • Shangnahui and Xianahui are better for slowing down and seeing Buyi villages, rice fields, old bridges, banyan trees, and riverside life.
  • Spring rapeseed flowers, green summer fields, and golden autumn paddies create very different views, so adjust your photo plan by season.
Insider Tips

During holidays, avoid unofficial low-price ticket sellers or guides. Use regular ticket channels.

If you only take the sightseeing bus, the pace will be fairly quick. Leave extra time in the villages if you want field and village photos.

Some sections near the Nahui River have traffic limits, so do not assume a rented scooter can enter every scenic road.

Village roads are narrow. In peak season, walking, riding, or using short taxi transfers is easier than driving to every stop.

Sunny midday viewpoints on the mountainside have little shade. Water and sun protection matter more than extra clothing.
