How to Visit
1

Save a quiet time for it

Fuli Bridge is an old stone bridge on the upper Yulong River. It is best for seeing the bridge arch, reflection, village water, and countryside setting, not for a rushed peak-hour stop. Morning or late afternoon is more comfortable.

Tip:The sights are concentrated, and 20-40 minutes can be enough on site, but include the travel time in your plan.
2

Ride or take a car

There is no metro or major fixed transport from Yangshuo town to Fuli Bridge. Common options are e-bike, self-driving, taxi, or hired car. Riding is scenic, but some village roads are narrow.

Tip:If it is your first time there, avoid riding an e-bike through village roads after dark. Lighting is limited and navigation is harder.
3

Find the bridge-and-reflection angle

The classic Fuli Bridge view is the stone arch and its water reflection forming an almost complete circle. Calm water and soft light give the best effect, so try angles from the bridge side, riverbank, or bamboo raft view.

Tip:The stone bridge surface can be slippery after rain. Do not stand in unsafe places just to capture the full reflection.
4

Do not overload the day

Fuli Bridge can be combined with Yulong Bridge, Xiangui Bridge, or an upper Yulong River cycling route. It can also work as a quiet photo stop on its own.

Tip:If you already have Yulong River rafting and Shili Gallery planned that day, do not push Fuli Bridge too late. The round trip still takes time.
Highlights
  • The single-arch stone bridge and water reflection can form a nearly complete "full moon" image.
  • The area is less commercialized than West Street and the busy raft piers.
  • The bridge, river, bamboo rafts, and village setting create a strong Yangshuo countryside scene.
  • Early morning mist or soft late-afternoon light gives better photo layers.
  • It suits travelers who like old bridges, countryside cycling, and quiet small stops.
Insider Tips

Fuli Bridge is free, but nearby bamboo rafts, parking, or hired transport may cost extra.

The bridge is narrow, so leave space for pedestrians and local vehicles when taking photos.

There can be many mosquitoes by the river, especially on summer evenings.

If this is your first Yangshuo visit and time is tight, put Fuli Bridge after Yulong River and the Li River in priority.

Reflections depend on water surface and light, so the complete circle is not guaranteed at every time of day.
