A performance town to explore on foot
Manpu · Seeing Helan is an immersive performing arts town across from Zhenbeipu Western Film Studio. Its central theme is the Lingzhou Alliance (灵州会盟), a historic Tang-era gathering involving the imperial court and leaders of different peoples. The town brings this story to life through themed streets, theatres, and interactive performances. It suits visitors who enjoy walking, watching shows, and talking with performers; the focus is on performances and interaction rather than quiet architecture or a brief photo stop.
Leave the afternoon and evening free
Your pace depends on the day’s programme. You can shorten your visit by choosing one or two shows and a few streets. To join interactive activities, see several performances, and stay for the evening headliner, allow from half a day into the evening. On arrival, check show times and locations before deciding whether to visit Zhenbeipu Western Film Studio on the same day.

Choose your visit
If you are interested in history
The site’s 2026 upgrade centres on the Lingzhou Alliance, with scenes about exchanges among different peoples. Check the day’s programme and choose the performances that interest you. You do not need to see every show; leave time to look at the details around the streets and follow the story.
If you enjoy interactive roles and activities
Interactive scenes around the town bring the story into your visit, with performers leading parts of the plot. If you want to join in, follow the tasks and talk with the characters. Anyone who prefers to watch can wait at a meeting point you agree on. The available activities, where to collect props, and how to take part depend on the day’s programme. Ask about the options after entering before buying an experience package; you do not need to prepare a full costume in advance.
If you mainly want to see a large-scale show
The main productions include Wanbu Qifu (《万部祈福》), Cishi Ye Yan (《刺史夜宴》), and Lingzhou Huimeng (《灵州会盟》). Shows take place in different streets and theatres, and schedules or venues may change. Before buying a ticket, confirm that your preferred headliner is showing, how long it lasts, and what the ticket includes. Then plan interactive activities and meal time around it.
If you are travelling with children or mixed interests
The streets and shows involve walking and standing, which can become tiring after several performances. Choose one show that everyone wants to see, then keep the interactive streets flexible. Agree on a meeting point and a way to contact each other; children should not follow performers away from the group. If someone prefers quiet, dislikes crowds, or is sensitive to loud sound or fireworks, shorten the visit or avoid the busiest shows.
Build your day
Start with the day’s programme
Check the show times, locations, and visitor map in the official mini-programme or on-site notice. Make your must-see performance the anchor, then fit street activities and breaks around it. The stages are spread across the town; arriving just before a show can mean missing entry or ending up where the view is blocked.
Leave time for interactive activities
If you want to take part in the story, ask how to collect tasks, where the activity points are, and when they finish. You do not have to follow a route shared by another visitor or complete every task. Queues, performer parades, or unplanned shows can change your pace. Rest when needed, then decide whether to catch the next performance.
Keep the schedule around the headliner flexible
Save your main show for later in the visit and head to its venue early, following on-site directions. After it ends, join a parade or group activity only if it is on that day’s programme. If you do not want to wait, plan your exit route in advance and avoid walking back and forth across the town to catch extra shows.
Get there
Travel from central Yinchuan to Zhenbeipu
The town is in Zhenbeipu Town, Xixia District, opposite Zhenbeipu Western Film Studio. Set a separate map destination to “漫葡·看见贺兰” or the official map pin, then follow the entrance signs on arrival.
Check the bus and return trip separately
Before leaving, use Yinchuan Bus or a map app to check the day’s route to Zhenbeipu, the stop, and the last departure. Confirm how far the stop is from the town entrance. Evening shows may finish after regular buses stop running. If you plan to stay for the headliner, arrange a ride-hailing car or pickup in advance and allow time for the post-show crowd.
Combine it with the film studio
The two attractions face each other across the street. You can visit the film studio during the day and plan Manpu · Seeing Helan for the afternoon and evening. They are separate venues with separate tickets, reservations, and activities. If you rely on the bus, confirm there is still a service or shuttle after leaving the studio.
Know before you go
Check the current programme and ticket options
The operating and ticket arrangements for version 3.0 may change. Before travelling, check the official mini-programme or scenic-area notice for operating dates, entry times, whether each show is included, which experiences need a separate ticket, and refund or change rules. Keep your booking and ticket confirmation.
Prepare for walking and the evening
You will walk between streets and theatres, so wear comfortable shoes and plan sitting breaks if you are with children or older adults. Use sun protection during the day and bring a jacket for the cooler mountain-foot evenings. Follow the performance-area rules: do not cross barriers or block walkways for photos.
