Location and visit length

Xiong'an Impression is at 76 Jinhu East Road in Dahe Town, Rongcheng County. It is a separate exhibition venue, outside walking distance of Baoding's old city. The first floor covers the history of Baiyangdian, the Xiong'an development plan, and ideas for a future city. Allow 30–60 minutes for a quick visit.

Allow 1.5–2 hours if you want to try the AR activities and see the second-floor exhibition. The second-floor displays change; ask about access and entry when buying a ticket.

Tickets, reservations, and opening hours

The reference adult ticket price is CNY 20; visitors over 60 have a reference ticket price of CNY 10. You can reserve through the “雄安电建智汇城” WeChat official account, or ask about booking on site. Check whether real-name details or a reservation slot are required.

Reference hours are Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with last entry at 5:30 p.m. The venue is closed on Mondays. If you want to see all of the first-floor exhibits or the second-floor show, arrive earlier in the afternoon.

Choose your visit

“Living Together”: Baiyangdian and local history

The “Living Together” exhibition covers regional history and the cultural history of Baiyangdian, with video displays introducing changes in the area around Xiong'an. Visitors interested in local history or Baiyangdian culture can start here.

“Building Together”: the city-planning models

The “Building Together” exhibition uses a three-part digital model of the city above ground, underground, and in the cloud to explain Xiong'an's planning. The model and its digital presentation are the main stop for visitors interested in urban planning or interactive exhibits for children.

“Sharing”: time tunnel and interactive exhibits

The “Sharing” exhibition uses a time tunnel and glasses-free 3D displays to explore the future city. Some areas have AR activities. Interactive equipment may be unavailable during exhibition maintenance; follow staff instructions when you arrive.

Build your day

Quick visit: 30–60 minutes

Start with “Living Together,” continue to the “Building Together” digital model, then visit the “Sharing” time tunnel and glasses-free 3D area. The route takes about 30–60 minutes. If an interactive exhibit is paused or has a queue, continue to another section.

Full visit: 1.5–2 hours

Take your time through the first floor in the order “Living Together–Building Together–Sharing,” and allow time for any AR activities that are open. Then ask whether the second-floor art gallery is open and whether it requires a separate ticket. The full visit takes about 1.5–2 hours; allow extra time for a temporary second-floor exhibition.

Add a nearby walk

After the visit, you can walk around nearby Jinhu Park; allow extra time for the park. Baiyangdian and Xiong'an Impression can be combined on a trip around the new district, but you will need transport between them. Check each site's entry or boat schedule separately.

Get there

Driving and parking

Navigate to “Xiong'an Impression” or 76 Jinhu East Road. There is an underground parking garage beside the venue, close to the entrance. Parking spaces and holiday traffic arrangements may vary; follow on-site directions.

Railway stations and local transport

From Baiyangdian Railway Station, the venue is about 10 km by taxi; from Xiong'an Railway Station, it is about 20 km. Local buses and shared bikes are limited, so arrange a ride from either station and plan your return trip as well.

Know before you go

Xiong'an Eye is a separate site

“Xiong'an Eye” refers to the Xiong'an City Computing Center, a different building from Xiong'an Impression. If you want to visit or photograph it, travel separately to the area around the computing center.

Second-floor exhibitions and breaks

Temporary exhibitions in the second-floor art gallery may require a separate ticket. Ask about floor access, price, and exhibition hours when buying admission. There are few restaurants near the venue, so eat before your visit or bring permitted drinking water and a small snack. Jinhu Park is a separate outdoor stop.
