How to Visit
1

Treat it as a highland meadow resort

Dashuichuan has some grassland feeling like Guanshan Grassland, but it works more like a resort-style scenic area with shuttle buses, meadow activities, and family-friendly experiences.

Tip:Do not plan only around seeing grassland; include transfer time, activities, and show schedules.
2

You need to transfer after entering

Private cars usually cannot drive directly to the core upper meadow.

Tip:After entering, take the scenic-area bus uphill, then use the electric carts if needed. With older visitors or children, this transfer system saves energy, but you must watch the last bus time.
3

Walk slowly on the upper meadow

Once you reach the upper area, there is no need to check off every small stop.

Tip:Swan Lake, meadow viewpoints, animal areas, and photo spots can be visited in a relaxed order. In good weather, sitting in the wind can be better than rushing through activities.
4

Do not make shows and activities your only reason to come

The Three Heroes Fight Lu Bu horse show, riding, archery, and grass sliding can add to the visit, but they depend on time, weather, and operation.

Tip:The meadow and summer cooling are the more reliable reasons to visit.
5

Prepare for motion sickness and cold wind

The uphill road has many bends, so prepare if you get carsick.

Tip:The upper meadow is windy, and electric-cart rides can feel cold. Bring a jacket even in summer, and do not dress only for Baoji city temperatures.
Highlights
  • Dashuichuan focuses on highland meadow, forest, streams, and summer cooling.
  • Scenic-area buses bring visitors to the upper core area and reduce walking effort.
  • Meadow animals, family activities, and horse riding suit family travelers.
  • The horse show is one of the more distinctive experiences in the scenic area.
  • It can pair with Jiulong Mountain or Lingbao Gorge, but do not make the day too packed.
Insider Tips

Consider the entrance ticket and uphill transport together; upper-meadow electric carts depend on your needs.

Pay close attention to late entry and last downhill bus times.

Food and supplies are limited in the upper area, so bring water and simple snacks.

Sunny weather makes the meadow much more rewarding; rainy weather reduces the experience.

If you get carsick, sit near the front, avoid looking at your phone, and do not eat too much before going uphill.
