Location and theme

Hetao Agricultural Culture Expo Park is in Longxingchang Town, Wuyuan County, Bayannur. Map listings place it beside Provincial Highway S212. Public sources and maps also use the name “Hetao Agricultural Culture Expo Garden”; Trip.com calls it “Expo Park.” Both names refer to this agricultural destination in Wuyuan. The park presents Hetao farming tools and traditions alongside modern agriculture, outdoor scenery, and folk experiences. It is outside walking range of downtown Linhe.

Main sights within one park

Highlights include the Agricultural Culture Museum, Yellow River Culture Park, Folk Culture Street, and an interactive area. Local reporting describes the museum as tracing Hetao agriculture from early tools to modern farming. The outdoor scenery and folk area can extend the visit beyond the galleries; use the park guide to locate current stops.

Who may enjoy the visit

Visitors interested in traditional tools, seasonal farming, and agriculture in the Hetao region can start with the indoor displays and continue outdoors. Families and student groups may also use the park for an agricultural study visit. For a quick introduction, visit the museum and return; if you want to join a farming activity, first confirm what is actually open that day.

Choose your visit

A one-hour highlights route

Enter through an entrance open that day, visit the Agricultural Culture Museum, and follow its guide to exhibits on farming tools and life in the Hetao region before returning to the entrance. This one-hour visit focuses mainly on the indoor galleries; follow the current signs for the museum route.

A two- to three-hour park visit

You could plan a two- to three-hour visit in this order: Agricultural Culture Museum, the open areas of Yellow River Culture Park, Folk Culture Street or the interactive area, then back to the entrance. This is a suggested route. Public information does not confirm continuous walking paths, distances between stops, or daily opening for every area. Adjust the plan to the park guide on arrival; a fixed loop has not been confirmed.

Keep activity time flexible

Local information mentions folk activities and farming experiences, but specific options such as stone-grinding, rice milling, and fruit picking may depend on the season, venue, and operator. Treat the activity area as an optional stop. If an activity is closed, continue with the exhibits or outdoor scenery rather than assuming every experience is available just because the park is open.

Build your day

Use listed hours as a reference

Ctrip's attraction listing shows 08:30–17:40 as reference hours. If you plan to see both the museum and outdoor areas, start with the museum, then visit the areas open that day.

Balance indoor and outdoor time

Keep the museum as the focus of a short visit, and add Yellow River culture and folk experiences for a longer one. Public area figures use different measures, so do not estimate walking distances from a single number. Adjust outdoor time to the areas open, the weather, and your group’s pace.

Get there

Navigate to S212 in Wuyuan County

For easier navigation in Chinese map apps, search for “河套农耕文化博览苑” or “河套农耕文化博览园” (Hetao Agricultural Culture Expo Park). Check that the map point is beside Provincial Highway S212 in Wuyuan County. Ctrip lists an S212 address, and Amap also places “河套农耕文博苑” on Highway 212 in Wuyuan. The map point is a navigation reference, not confirmation of the entrance arch or parking area.

Travel from Linhe across counties

The park is in Wuyuan County. Plan travel time from your actual starting point using current road and transit conditions. No regular bus directly to the park entrance from downtown Linhe has been confirmed. The Linhe wetland park and museums are separate stops, not places to walk to from this park.

Know before you go

Ask separately about admission and services

No confirmed park admission price has been found. The 08:30–17:40 hours on Ctrip are only a platform reference, not a guarantee from the operator. Before visiting, confirm the day’s hours, fees, and reservation requirements. Ask separately about park admission, access to indoor venues, and any additional charges for guided tours, shuttle carts, or hands-on activities.

Collection size does not mean every item is on display

An older report from the museum’s opening mentioned a collection of more than 6,000 farming tools and household items. This total does not mean that all items are displayed at once or can be touched. Follow the current gallery labels, and distinguish historic tools from activity equipment that visitors are allowed to use.

Prepare for the outdoors and the return trip

The park includes outdoor areas. Bring sun protection and water in summer, and consider a light jacket on spring or autumn mornings and evenings. Check whether restrooms, seating, guided tours, and shuttle services are available. After the visit, you can return to Longxingchang Town for a meal and supplies. Do not assume a restaurant is beside the entrance until its location has been verified.
