The main hall, underground remains and free park
Gujing Liquor Culture Museum, also called Gujing Liquor Culture Expo Park, is in Gujing Town, Qiaocheng District, Bozhou. The entrance has a Han-watchtower-style gate, and the main hall uses a Song-inspired architectural style to present the history, culture and brewing-related content of Gujing Gongjiu. The main-hall displays, underground passage, Song-era well and Ming–Qing cellar-pit site make up the ticketed visit.
Allow about 1.5–2 hours for the main hall and heritage remains, or about 40–60 minutes for a quick visit. The reference price is CNY 60 for a full ticket and CNY 30 for a half-price ticket. Reference hours are 08:30–11:30 and 13:30–17:00, with a midday closure. Reservations are usually not required; you can buy a ticket on site or check the attraction's online channels. Main-hall displays and the underground well
On the first floor, the Chinese Liquor Culture Hall introduces the wider culture of Chinese liquor. On the second floor, the Gujing Liquor Culture Hall and Famous Liquors Gallery focus on Gujing's history and liquor displays. The large liquor jar known as the “豆青回纹大酒瓮” and the display of liquor samples from the Fifth National Liquor Appraisal Conference are worth a slower look before you take the underground passage to the Song-era well.
The Ming–Qing cellar-pit site behind the main hall is another important stop and gives the displays a physical brewing setting. The underground passage, well and cellar-pit site may have different open areas, so follow the route and staff directions in place that day.
Gujing Park and Wei Well
Gujing Park and Wei Well are across the road from the main hall. They can be entered from the public road, are free to visit and have their own access apart from the ticketed main hall. The area includes pavilions, an old well and pagoda trees, and works well for a short photo stop after the main-hall visit.
The park and Wei Well are good for a brief look at the surroundings, with red walls, green trees, well pavilions and traditional-style buildings as photo elements. If you only want the landscape and well, the free area can be visited on its own; the main hall is where to see the liquor-culture displays and heritage remains.

The 1.5–2-hour complete route
Enter through the main-hall gate. Start with the Chinese Liquor Culture Hall on the first floor, then continue to the Gujing Liquor Culture Hall and Famous Liquors Gallery on the second floor. Follow the underground passage to the Song-era well, continue to the rear Ming–Qing cellar-pit site, then leave the main hall and cross the road to Gujing Park and Wei Well.
After seeing the ticketed main hall and underground remains, cross the road to the free Gujing Park and Wei Well. The main hall closes from 11:30 to 13:30, so note the reopening time when arranging the visit; the open areas in Gujing Park and around Wei Well follow the signs on site.
The 40–60-minute quick route
With limited time, start with the large “豆青回纹大酒瓮” on the first floor, then see the display of liquor samples from the Fifth National Liquor Appraisal Conference on the second floor. Continue to the Song-era well and finish with photos by the red walls and green pagoda trees at the main entrance. If time allows, cross the road for a short stop at Gujing Park and Wei Well.
This short route focuses on representative displays and one underground heritage remain, and suits a half-day visit to Gujing Town. The town is about 20 km from downtown Bozhou, so include the return journey in the day's travel time.
Get there
Bus, driving and the return journey
From downtown Bozhou, you can take bus routes 2 or 23 and get off at the “Chentuan Temple” stop, then walk to Gujing Liquor Culture Museum. Bus frequency, the exact stop position and return services follow the arrangements on the day. If driving, set the destination to “Gujing Liquor Culture Museum” or “Gujing Liquor Culture Expo Park”; car parks are available around the attraction.
Gujing Town is outside the walking range of Bozhou's old city, so it suits a separate half-day visit. When leaving, arrange the return to downtown Bozhou by bus or taxi, and take care when crossing the road between the main hall, Gujing Park and Wei Well.
