Plan at a glance
Decide between a hot spring visit and an overnight stay
Guoxin Nanshan Hot Spring is connected to a hotel. You can spend half a day at the pools or stay overnight with a hotel package. Plan on about 3–5 hours at the pools; 2–3 hours may be enough if you plan to use only a few. Allow travel time separately, and remember that the hot spring’s opening hours do not guarantee that every facility operates all day.
Choose by venue and what is open that day
The complex has indoor and outdoor hot springs, a children’s hall, a swimming pool, and several themed pools. The outdoor water park is currently listed as closed. In winter and between seasons, outdoor areas, water-play facilities, and indoor pools may keep different hours; check that day’s notice before making a special trip for an outdoor activity.

Choose your visit
Check day tickets and hotel packages separately
For a day ticket, check the valid date and entry period, whether a meal is included, and whether you can re-enter after leaving. A single-entry ticket does not automatically allow you to leave for a meal and return. Hotel package benefits depend on the room type, number of guests, and booking details.
A child ticket does not guarantee ride eligibility
Children under 1.2 m are listed as eligible for free admission when accompanied by an adult; children from 1.2 m up to but not including 1.4 m are listed for half-price admission. Limits may apply to the number of accompanying adults, and rules can vary by ticket, so check the checkout page and entry inspection. Water slides, rafting, and surfing activities have separate height and safety requirements. Adults should supervise children throughout.
Choose indoor or outdoor pools to suit your visit
For a quieter soak, start with indoor pools and themed pools that are open that day. If visiting with children, first check whether the children’s water-play area and activities are open. Outdoor pools depend on weather and operating hours, so build in an indoor alternative.
For another independently operated hot spring with a water park, see Yulong Hot Spring (Changchun).
For a separate winter resort with a ski area and snow attractions, see Tiandingshan Tourism Resort.
Build your day
Start at the hot spring visitor center
The hot spring visitor center is separate from the hotel check-in desk. On arrival, follow signs for “Hot Spring Visitor Center” and use your booking QR code or the on-site instructions for ticket validation. For accommodation check-in and room benefits, follow the hotel front desk instructions.
A light two- to three-hour visit
After entry, change clothes and choose a few pools that are open that day. Take a break and drink water, then leave time to shower and change before departure. If your main goal is a hot spring soak, you do not need to visit every pool.
Allow activity and rest time with children
The children’s hall, swimming pool, and indoor and outdoor hot springs offer different options; available areas and activities may vary by day. Ask staff which ones children can use, alternate pool time with breaks, and supervise them near the water.
Meals and leaving midway
Hotel dining is listed on site, but restaurant access for day visitors and meal vouchers depend on current arrangements. Ask where outside food may be eaten, and check dining access before relying on an on-site meal.
Get there
Use the place name rather than road mileage
Search for “Guoxin Nanshan Hot Spring” or “Guoxin Nanshan Hot Spring Hotel” in a map app. One address listing gives No. 16 Changqing Highway in Shuangyang District, while the group site describes the location as 16 km south along the extension of Jingyue Street. These are different ways of describing the location; navigate to the attraction’s map pin rather than using the mileage description alone to find the entrance.
Check the return bus after arrival
The Guoxin Nanshan Stop is listed for Route 377 and T377 Shenlu Peak. Check current service, direction, and last departure in a live transit app before entering; arrange a car or reliable transfer if the return bus does not fit your schedule.
Driving and parking
One listing describes the Changchun Guoxin Nanshan Hot Spring car park as free, with about 350 spaces. Confirm fees and availability on the day, especially during busy periods. After parking, follow signs to the hot spring visitor center rather than the hotel check-in desk.
Know before you go
Hours vary by area
The hot spring area is listed as open 08:30–21:00. Tanyi Pavilion (檀医馆) and the outdoor hot spring area are listed as open 10:00–19:00 on weekdays and 08:30–21:00 on weekends and public holidays. Check separate notices for winter hours and the outdoor water park before traveling.
Check prices and add-on activities on site
Prices vary by date and package; check the actual price before buying. Online products are listed separately for weekdays, weekends, public holidays, evening entry, children, and packages with meals. Confirm the booking date, cancellation terms, meals, and child eligibility. Check the day’s information to see whether fish therapy, rafting, surfing, and other activities are open or cost extra.
Pool use and how you feel
Follow on-site signs for each pool’s water temperature, opening status, and use restrictions. Hot springs, medicinal baths, and mineral content are not promises of treatment or beauty benefits. If you feel unwell, leave the pool area and ask staff for help. Accompany children as required by the venue; do not cross barriers or let children use water attractions alone.
Contact and what to bring
The ticketing information lists 0431-85837777. Call to confirm anything still unclear, particularly open areas, re-entry, child eligibility, add-on charges, or return transport. Check on-site notices about swimsuits and personal items, and bring what you need.
