Arrive before dark if you want both moods
Arrive around 5:00 pm if possible: see the old street before dark, then wait for the lights along the bridges and river. During holidays, crowds can slow the walk.

Navigate to Yuhou Street Parking Lot, then enter the street on foot. Treat it as an open urban district, not a single-ticket attraction with one fixed schedule; shops and stalls keep their own hours.
