Plan at a glance
Six themed zones and one main entrance
Royal Ocean World (皇家海洋乐园) is at 3 Gaoyang Road, Gaowan Economic Development Zone, Shenfu Demonstration Area, Fushun. It has one main entrance. The six themed zones are Polar, Ocean, Animal, Beach Water World, Circus and Happy World; visitors walk between the venues.
The park is large. You can prioritize the ocean, polar and animal exhibits and shows, or try the rides operating in Happy World. Beach Water World is seasonal and can take a separate half-day when it is open in summer. Allow about 3–4 hours for the main exhibits and shows, or 6–7 hours for exhibits combined with Beach Water World in summer.
Tickets and which zones are open
A two-person online ticket is listed at about CNY 280–350, depending on the date and product. Children up to and including 1.2 m tall can enter free with a paying adult; each adult may bring one free child. Check other concession conditions on the ticket page. Online tickets usually need to be purchased at least one hour ahead. Check the zones and activities included in the ticket before planning your visit.
As of October 13, 2026, Polar World, Ocean World, Animal World and Happy World were open; Happy World included the elevated mini train and carousel. Hours were 09:00–16:30, with ticket check-in ending at 15:30. Circus World ended its season on October 11, and Beach Water World was not on the open-venue list. The six zones describe the park overall; plan a water-park visit only when Beach Water World reopens.

Choose your visit
Ocean and polar exhibits
Ocean World has an underwater tunnel, a jellyfish gallery and mermaid and dolphin shows. Polar World features beluga whales, polar bears and penguins. Whether shows run, their times and venues depend on the programme for your visit date and on-site notices. Under the current operating notice, prioritize Polar, Ocean, Animal and Happy World.
Animal World has land animals such as tigers, crocodiles and raccoons; feeding is an extra-cost activity. For an animal-focused visit, group Ocean World, Polar World and Animal World into one sightseeing block, allowing time to walk between the venues.
Beach Water World and family visits
Beach Water World has a wave pool, slides and a children's area. It is part of the park overall, but as of October 13, 2026, it is not on the current list of open venues; plan it for a season when it has reopened. Walking is required between venues. Families with young children may consider bringing a stroller, but check access arrangements on site.
The Circus and Happy zones are also part of the park overall. Circus World ended its 2026 season on October 11, while Happy World is currently open. Seal photo sessions and animal feeding cost extra. Before paying, check which activities are open that day and what your ticket includes.
For a separate Fushun resort with parks that have their own tickets and entrances, see Hot Go Park.
Build your day
Short visit: prioritize the shows
After entering, go first to Polar World for the beluga show. Then follow the day's programme to Ocean World for a mermaid or dolphin show, and visit Animal World if time allows. This highlights-focused visit takes about 3–4 hours, with walking between venues.
Popular show areas have limited seating, so arrive 30–60 minutes early. Check the show schedule first and then decide whether to add Animal World, so you do not arrive for one show while the next is already starting.
When Beach Water World is open: exhibits in the morning, water rides in the afternoon
During the season when Beach Water World is open, visit Polar World, Ocean World and the animal exhibits in the morning, then move to the water park in the afternoon. This plan suits visitors who want to make water activities the focus of the day. Choose a ticket that includes the relevant zones and confirm that they are open on your visit date.
Outside the Beach Water World season, spend most of the day at the open animal and ocean exhibits and shows, and on rides in Happy World. The current open-venue list includes Polar World, Ocean World, Animal World and Happy World. Check the park schedule and on-site notices for show times, ride operations and closing arrangements on your date.
Get there
Driving and parking
Navigate to “Royal Ocean World” (皇家海洋乐园), at 3 Gaoyang Road, Gaowan Economic Development Zone, Shenfu Demonstration Area, Fushun. Driving from central Shenyang takes about 30–40 minutes. Parking is listed at about CNY 10 per day.
Rail transfers and walking inside the park
You can arrive by rail at Fushun Station or Shenyang Station, then continue by local bus or taxi. Check current bus routes and travel time from the station to the park before setting out. The former name Fushun North Station has been changed to Fushun Station, which now serves high-speed rail.
There are no shuttle vehicles inside the park; visitors walk between themed venues. Families with young children may use a stroller, but check access arrangements for Beach Water World, indoor venues and walking paths on site.
Know before you go
Tickets and show queues
Online tickets usually need to be purchased at least one hour ahead; a last-minute purchase may come too late for entry. Check the date and the zones and activities covered by your ticket. Beach Water World and Circus World are not in the current operating schedule, so do not plan around an old ticket page or a past year's programme.
Crowds are heavier on public holidays. For popular mermaid and dolphin shows, arrive 30–60 minutes early.
Water-park gear and extra costs
For Beach Water World, bring a swimsuit, swim cap, bath towel and toiletries. Food inside the park is relatively expensive; animal feeding and photo sessions cost extra. You may bring an inflatable swim ring, but on-site inflation may carry a fee.
Children up to and including 1.2 m tall can enter free with a paying adult, with a limit of one free child per adult. Concession conditions may apply to children over 1.2 m and up to 1.4 m, visitors aged 70 and over, and other eligible groups; check the visitor's ID and the ticket rules for that date. Admission concessions are separate from ride restrictions. Check age, height and health requirements before joining an activity.
International visitors buying tickets with a passport should contact the park first to confirm whether the sales channel accepts passport details and how on-site ID checks and entry work. The online ticket instructions list ID requirements but do not confirm that a passport is accepted for the current order or check-in. Do not assume a QR code alone is sufficient for entry. The park's customer service number is 024-56118888.
