How to Visit
1

Use it as the easy half of a Jianmen day

Cuiyun Corridor is a gentle ancient-cypress walk. If you visit Jianmen Pass the same day, do Jianmen Pass first and save Cuiyun Corridor for the lighter section.

Tip:Visit Jianmen Pass before Cuiyun Corridor if you want the hardest walking done early.
2

Walk the main cypress route slowly

The value is the ancient Shu Road lined with old cypress trees. Look for famous trees such as Jian'ge cypress and named old specimens along the path.

Tip:It is a history-and-tree walk, not a mountain climb.
3

Keep the visit focused

Most travelers need 1-2 hours. Read the tree labels, walk the stone road, and take a rest under the shade.

Tip:Adding extra time only makes sense if you love old trees or quiet photography.
4

Plan the return transport early

Shuttle and taxi availability can be weaker than at Jianmen Pass. Arrange the return to Jianmenguan Station or your hotel before it gets late.

Tip:Arrange the return taxi or shuttle timing before you start walking so the short visit does not become a long wait.
Highlights
  • Ancient cypress-lined section of the old Shu Road
  • Much easier walking than Jianmen Pass
  • CNY 130 combo option with Jianmen Pass
  • Good late-afternoon add-on after a harder hike
  • Useful for travelers interested in historic roads and old trees
Insider Tips

Do Jianmen Pass first if combining both in one day.

Wear comfortable walking shoes even though the route is gentle.

Bring water because food options are limited inside the walk.

Do not confuse this paid core area with free roadside old-Shu-Road sections.

Use a taxi if the shuttle timing is unclear.
