Qianfo Cliff and Huangze Temple are separate sites but share a useful cultural theme: Buddhist carvings and Guangyuan's position on the old Shu Road.

The cliff has hundreds of niches and thousands of figures. Move slowly along the main viewing route and look for differences in size, era, and carving style.
Tip:This is not a site to understand from one wide photo.

Key caves such as Dayun Cave and Lotus Cave are easier to understand when you read the labels or use a guide.
